Happy Summer Solstice! June 21 officially kicks off the summer season and is the longest day of the year. It is also recognized as a time for celebration, reflection, and abundance. Santa Barbara likes to commemorate this occasion in style. This weekend, June 23-24, 2023 is the 49th Annual Santa Barbara Summer Solstice Parade and Festival. Don’t miss out on the celebration starting Saturday at 12 noon (corner of Ortega x Santa Barbara St) for the dazzling parade. Then, head to Alameda Park for the free event: which includes a full musical lineup, food trucks, local vendors, and beer and wine garden.
